October 30, 2010 - Over 330 runners came out to Watters Creek in Allen to participate in the inaugural “Trek or Treat 5K Run and Walk”.   Hosted by DFW Runs, the entire day included a Halloween celebration full of tasty treats and activities for all ages, and the Allen Parks Foundation was excited to be the beneficiary.  What a great way for people to get out, get fit and, at the same time, support the Allen Parks Foundation and our mission to make Allen parks the best they can be!

Allen Parks Foundation Board Members Ross Obermeyer, Stephanie Brittain, Kevin Pierce, Jim Waldbauer and Mary Jane Hamilton, along with representatives from Watters Creek and Luke's Locker, accept a donation from Watters Creek at Montgomery Farms for the successful "Trek or Treat 5K Run and Walk".
