The Allen Parks Foundation is pleased to be a partner with the Parks and Recreation Department in hosting “Evening with Neal McCoy.” The purpose of the event is to benefit the City’s C.A.R.E. program. Through the Citizen Assistance for Recreation Experiences (C.A.R.E.) Program, financial assistance is provided to children and families in the City of Allen to be able to participate in most recreational programs, classes, and memberships offered at the various facilities across Allen.
Not all families are able to participate in some of the recreational amenities in Allen. This is why the C.A.R.E. program is so important. We want as many people as possible to be able to take advantage of what Allen parks has to offer and increasing the available scholarship funds in the C.A.R.E. program will help achieve this mission.
What a great way to help further the mission of the Allen Parks Foundation! We’re excited to be a part of this effort in bringing exciting, high quality, affordable recreational programs to as many citizens of Allen as possible.
